ABOUT ME

BORN AND RAISED in the kingdom of Nashville, Tennessee, Jaclyn grew up loving everything musical theatre. She loved watching Disney movies as a kid, which she claims taught her how to tell stories through song, (and which she also claims taught her how to be a hopeless romantic.)
She went on to study Musical Theatre Performance at Middle Tennessee State University where she was involved in multiple productions including Kiss Me, Kate! and Ride the Cyclone. She was also an active member of the theatre honor society's Lambda Gamma chapter of Alpha Psi Omega.

Now a New York City resident, Jaclyn spent time training in Lindsay Mendez & Ryan Scott Oliver's Actor Therapy program and has gone on to play roles such as Amy March (Little Women: The Musical) and Suzy (The Marvelous Wonderettes)

Jaclyn's passion for storytelling and human connection keep her driven in her craft. She is constantly finding ways to express and share experiences and simply have fun along the way.

Getting to play Amy March was a dream come true! I've always loved Little Women and I have always jokingly called myself an Amy March apologist but I truly feel as if she is very misunderstood! I empathize with Amy's younger sibling syndrome as well as her desire for elegance and beauty in all aspects of life.

I met Joy Franz at the stage door for the national tour of Anastasia. She told me "you are divinely designed for success" and I've never forgotten it. I also one time ran into my idol Kristin Chenoweth in the airport on my way to an audition. Kristin told me to "kick butt out there" and it's my pre-audition mantra now!
